Has everyone been busy with Christmas shopping on Saturday? It looks like the entire neighbourhood has been evicted to Rose. I love that shop for the last-minute gift ideas, and apparently I’m not the only one – I had to push through a crowd that was migrating from one presentation stand to another in a strange behavioural pattern mostly driven by the colour preference. It took me about an hour to make up my mind, get a gift wrap and walk out with a strange set of objects: a rose scented candle, a wooden deer post-card, a magnetic calendar in a tin and a b/w polka-dot washcloth for my parents’ new b/w kitchen. The rest of the evening was spent drinking tea and writing Christmas cards.
